Meet Bob Walsh

Bob Walsh has lived in New Mexico since 1969, when he received a job offer at Sandia National Labs. A mathematician, Bob has worked on numerous projects over the decades. He skills have aided in the field of Nuclear Safety. He has contracted as a Senior Scientist whose clients included:

- Department of Energy (DOE) defense nuclear facilities,
- the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC),
- the Sandia National Laboratories (Sandia),
- the Los Alamos National Laboratory (Los Alamos),
- and the Defense Nuclear Agency (DNA)

Bob has a BS in Physics from the California Institute of Technology (Cal Tech), a Masters in Mathematics from San Diego State, and a Masters in Biology from UNM. He was a winner of the Stanford Mathematics Competition and the Editor-in-Chief of the Cal Tech school newspaper.

He has served on faculty of the Computer Science Department of the University of New Mexico (UNM) Athletics has always been important to Bob. Growing up playing tennis and baseball, Bob dedicated over 30 years to adult soccer leagues and to coaching AYSO soccer for youth.

Bob has a two sons and five grandchildren.
